Calls

A call does not connect. Calls work between people who both have Aneni. Check that your friend turned on Aneni and that you dialed their Aneni number - or send them a call link from the call screen.

No picture or sound. Allow the camera and microphone: iPhone - Settings - Aneni; Android - Settings - Apps - Aneni - Permissions. Then open the call again. Settings - Test my camera and microphone shows if they work.

I do not hear the phone ring. Allow notifications for Aneni in your phone's Settings.

Messages

Reply or react. Press a message: Reply quotes it in your answer; the faces add a reaction (press the same one again to take it off).

The ticks. ✓ sent, ✓✓ arrived, ✓✓ in blue: everyone in the chat has read it.

Voice messages. Press the gold microphone, speak, and send. Allow the microphone the first time.

Photos. Press the camera. Every photo is checked by our picture filter before it is sent; if a photo cannot be checked right now, it is not sent and you are told - try again in a moment.

Your number

Settings - My Aneni number: keep your own cell number (the one your account was made with) or get a new Aneni number. One press switches.

Groups and chats

Make a group in Chats - New group, then send its link. Men's groups are for men and women's groups for women.
